Terms and privacy
Interim terms for early access. Full terms of service will be published before wider release.
RecordReviewer helps organizations review court records and track work on client files. By signing in you agree to the points below.
1. Confidentiality
The application contains sensitive personal information, including identifying details and criminal-history records ("client data"). You agree to:
- Access client data only as needed for your work on behalf of your organization.
- Not disclose, copy, forward, photograph, print, or export client data to anyone who is not authorized to receive it.
- Not share your sign-in links or account with anyone, and not allow anyone else to use the application under your account.
- Use only devices you control that are protected by a password, passcode, or biometric lock.
- Report any suspected loss, theft, unauthorized access, or disclosure of client data, or of your account, to the site administrator right away.
2. Your organization's data stays separate
Each organization can see only its own client files, documents, and AI outputs. If you ever see information that belongs to a different organization, stop and report it to the site administrator immediately.
3. AI-assisted review
The application uses Google Cloud services (Document AI to read scanned documents and Vertex AI to produce summaries). When a user runs an AI feature, the relevant client documents and details are sent to those services to generate a result, which is stored in the application. AI output can be wrong. It is a research aid and does not replace review of the source documents or professional judgment.
4. Not legal advice
The application and its AI summaries are not legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship.
5. Access
Access can be suspended or removed at any time, including for any suspected violation of these terms.
